Who We Are

The Ortonville Lions Club is a non-profit organization. Our major goal is sight preservation, and to help those in need in our community.

Brief History

The Ortonville Lions club  way founded June 25th 1966, sponsored by the Goodrich Lions Club and the Oxford Lions Club with  (30) members.

The Ortonville Lions club currently has 58 members.

How We Serve

The Ortonville Lions Club has contributed the following major items/services to our community:

  • For eyeglasses contact Eye Glass Chairman

  • Hearing aids and examinations through our District 11A2 hearing aid program

  • We are the go to club for the collection of used eyeglasses in District 11A2. Our Districts Eyeglass collection trailer picks up eyeglasses throughout the District and delivers the used eyeglasses to Grand Rapids for processing. Each trip will have app. 160,000 pairs.

 

We have made major donations to:

  • All the Lions core programs including:

  • Leader Dogs for the Blind

  • Penrickton Center for Blind Children

  •  Lions Club International Foundation

  • Beaumont Silent Children Fund

 

Our Meetings:

Our Club continues to attract individuals from the community who are serious about their commitment to humanitarian service and who enjoy having fun along the way. As a Club we meet the .....................
